“Gearing Up” for another fantastic Car Show in September!

Date: September 24, 2022

Time: 9:00a.m. – 3:00p.m.

The Annual Downtown Car Show takes place around Central Park in historic Downtown New Britain, where the majestic 120-year-old Soldiers and Sailors Monument stands as the backdrop for this popular family event. Downtown New Britain is filled with beautifully preserved classic cars, pristine 50s era muscle cars, powerful vintage hot rods, and imports. Upwards of 200 vintage and classic autos are on display for spectator viewing. 

Ample free parking is conveniently located within a block of the event. This show is all-inclusive and open to Muscle Cars, Street Rods, Antiques and Tuners. Area restaurants along with a DJ will be on hand to keep you fortified and energized for the day’s activities. Numerous trophies are awarded for cars and motorcycles, as well as a coveted Mayor’s Trophy. While spectators are free, there is a $10 suggested donation for show cars. All proceeds from the event go to benefit the New Britain Police Explorers Youth Group.
